Enjoyed an evening at the Bafta Cymru awards recently. All the more enjoyable when our own Ffion Elinor scooped the Best Costume Design award for Ar y Tracs, written and produced by Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones. No stranger to awards, Ffion won a Bafta in 2003 for Hearts of Gold. Well done Ffi.

Enjoying the future in glorious 3D
Last week I was lucky enough to experience the revolution that is Sky 3D. Now I must admit that I was a bit of a Doubting Thomas about this one - although loving 3D and IMAX cinema, I really couldn't see the benefits of it in my own humble home. But, having seen a demo for Sky Arts, I have done a complete 360 - the depth, colour and definition are incredible. No doubt early adopters will be rushing out and buying new 3D TVs and cutting a dash in the silly glasses - and I won't be far behind them.
In the meantime, you can enjoy the World Cup in glorious 3D at designated pubs - check out your nearest watering hole in the Sky 3D pub finder. See you there.

A fav Grand Design
One of our favourite Grand Designs was on last night, featuring retired couple, the flamboyant David and Greta as they build a Huf Haus in Surrey. The setting is inspiring and the how they personalise the building is great. You can watch the episode on 4OD here. Or look at some shots of the haus below.
