Last week I was lucky enough to experience the revolution that is Sky 3D. Now I must admit that I was a bit of a Doubting Thomas about this one - although loving 3D and IMAX cinema, I really couldn't see the benefits of it in my own humble home. But, having seen a demo for Sky Arts, I have done a complete 360 - the depth, colour and definition are incredible. No doubt early adopters will be rushing out and buying new 3D TVs and cutting a dash in the silly glasses - and I won't be far behind them.
In the meantime, you can enjoy the World Cup in glorious 3D at designated pubs - check out your nearest watering hole in the Sky 3D pub finder. See you there.
If you are enjoying the winter games as much as we are, particularly the completely bonkers Snowboard and Ski Cross events, then you should visit Boston.com. The site always has outstanding photography and the Vancouver games is no exception. Our favourite of course is Amy Williams on the Skeleton...
One of our favourite Grand Designs was on last night, featuring retired couple, the flamboyant David and Greta as they build a Huf Haus in Surrey. The setting is inspiring and the how they personalise the building is great. You can watch the episode on 4OD here. Or look at some shots of the haus below. Our favourite shot is the end of the programme, showing David playing his saxophone! Leg–end.
